Dr. Premkiran B. Reddy is one of the few attorneys holding both a Doctorate in Medicine and extensive experience at the intersection of Law and Medicine. With his distinctive qualifications, Dr. Reddy is uniquely positioned to serve clients effectively. His background includes training in various Psychiatry settings, 15 years of operating a Rehab Clinic, certifications in arbitration and mediation, and a life enriched by living in multiple countries and U.S. states. This broad experience gives him deep insight into the human mind, including the Neurological, Endocrinological, and Psycho-social factors influencing human behavior.
Dr. Reddy’s diverse expertise enables him to approach Med-Legal issues not only from the perspectives of Medical Clinicians and Attorneys but also from the viewpoint of victims and clients. His ability to make a tangible difference in critical moments is exemplified by his success in effectively preventing suicides.
In 2012, a personal tragedy profoundly impacted his life. Dr. Reddy’s aunt, a Medical Doctor and Christian Missionary, and his uncle, a full-time minister, were involved in a devastating head-on collision in his hometown. While his aunt passed away, his uncle survived with severe traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and physical injuries. Dr. Reddy relocated to his hometown to provide care, joining his father, a Physical Therapist, in offering round-the-clock support for his uncle for seven years until his passing. This firsthand experience gave Dr. Reddy a deep understanding of the challenges faced by caregivers and families, as well as the physical and emotional toll injuries take on individuals and their loved ones.
Dr. Reddy understands the anguish injured clients endure—both physically and emotionally—as well as their changed behavior patterns and medical needs. His exceptional communication skills and ability to create a supportive environment during intakes and trial procedures ensure he can effectively assist injured clients.
